Trying to Focus with Stanford University

Currently 'auditing' (just a few minutes here and there - no certificate!) a course on Mobile Health with Stanford University. More info at #mHealth

Here's today's input:

Good day!

It was heartening to read  ''there is an overflow of mHealth initiatives in sub-saharan africa, Haiti and the sort. Of course there are some more urgent health issues than others, but as I said in some other post, I think we can have a lot of impact in every health system if we want to, and benefit millions of people even if they are not the most vulnerable in the world.'' To appeal to everyone globally:

The common denominators will always be two things:

1. Behaviorism (see the simple 'ABC' of behavior, Skinner, Pavlov, Operant Conditioning)

2. Reinforcing identity with POSITIVE reinforcement.

Identity is undervalued and provides income via tourism trade and appreciation for arts and history. e.g the lack of reinforcement for British identity has created UKIP. A party with no apparent identity or left/right preference - other than old British values. It is tribal. It is identity.

I recommend works by Richard Wiseman as in order to appeal to all, you need to employ selling techniques, as some NLP is now being branded as criminal, fraudulent and old.

Hope this helps,

All the best

E.C
